mystical stuff

hey good lookin'-

sunny and windy here in new hampshire usa on planet earth.  i'm trying to get a vintage goods update done in my shop this afternoon but here's what i'm daydreaming of doing instead:

1.  watching soap operas
2.  eating candy like peppermint patties
3.  going to goodwill
4.  buying pansies
5.  lying on the hammock with an afternoon glass of wine
6.  etc.

i feel lazy.  i need a vaca.  which reminds me to tell you that i am going away this weekend to mystic connecticut.  the truth is that i'd rather do some of the above than go anywhere.  is that bad to say?  but i'm sure i will have a good time.  i'm going with my mom and my daughter.  i'll bring the camera. and hopefully have some good pictures to share with you next week.

and now i'm going to get the above stuff plus some more stuff in my shop before going to that auction i mentioned yesterday.  so i can possible buy more stuff.  oh, and the window pictures are the view looking into my laundry room.  you know what i've always liked?  when you look in a window and you see a room but you can also see out a window on the other side of the room into the outdoors.  you know what i mean?

why do we always want to do the things we shouldn't be doing! I bet there are loads of times you just want to get away anywhere. Or I do, but when something is coming up, it seems I don't want to do it, suddenly.

I would love to lie in a hammock drinking wine, though!

Haha! Soap operas! Tsk tsk.

I adore pansies like no body's business. I wish they were around all year long.

Mystic is pretty cute. It's been a long time since I was there, but I remember thinking it was pretty alright. :) Hope you have fun!

Oh gosh, I spy Yorkshire cheese on one of those crates - that's for me, born and bred in Yorkshire - Bronte country!
I think we all agree that wine in the hammock sounds pretty good, must try (this weekend maybe, hammocks are up in the garden and its hot!)
Enjoy the trip!

Seriously, though, how am I supposed to get this stuff into the house when I'm at work all day and my husband works at home?

Still wanting that pillow...

who has a somewhat irrational fear of hammocks.
