    It's a suet pudding with currants in a log shape....still doesn't sound good and I can't get over the name!

    Spotted Dick was served regularly for school diners when I was younger - a typical English pudding - made with suet I think? Ofcourse, it always made us giggle!

    Ha! We have that at our grocery too and my husband and I always snicker when we see it. Haven't worked up nerve to try it yet, or even open a can for that matter.
