My idea of a good time: Pouring through hundreds of photos of old farm houses taken long ago. These came from the American Antiquarian website and they were all taken by Harriette Merrifield Forbes between the years of 1887-1945. She was an author and historian who photographed seventeenth and eighteenth century structures throughout central and eastern Massachusetts.
