rummage

I like the blog Rummage lots.  So I thought you might, too.  She's funny.  And stylish.  And funny.  So anyhoo- have a good weekend.  I think the east coast USA will be rain free. THANKS BE TO BABY JESUS.  Plus it's Easter.  I better hop to it and get some baskets together.  Plus I bought a Pysanky egg decorating kit last year which I never used so I am swearing on a bible right now that I will do some ukrainian egg decorating this weekend. I swear it.  I also hope to be in the back yard picking up fallen sticks and raking last years leaves and generally making the place habitable for me and mine.  And yorn if you care to stop by.
Happy Easter my little floppy eared bunny wabbits.

I've certainly had my share of "hiding from my children" moments! ;-) Thanks for pointing out Rummage. Have you met Shorpy yet? www.shorpy.com -- highly recommend it. Cheers, Mandy

That has got to be the best piece of embroidery I have ever seen. I used red thread on muslin to stitch some (probably too serious) poetry in my handwriting and seeing these words stitched in red cursive just brings a huge smile to my face--fabulous! Not to mention, whilst is my new favorite word. Happy Easter!

happy easter. i love this rummage post!
and oh my word. on a note that has really nothing to do with the wares, i love that kid's hair in the last photo. it is totally how my baby brother's fine, blonde hair used to get when he was that age... ha ha!!
