intentional community

i always have the best intentions but i'm not the best at remembering to take pictures when i'm out.  i get involved with what i'm doing and documenting is secondary.  with that said, i went to visit a couple intentional communities/land trusts yesterday.  my mind is buzzing with it and i'm sure you will hear more about this in the future.

much of the day was spent potato printing a calendar.  i did an early american stencil design and friend jason made butterflies.

then we spent time walking around.  it was very quiet and very in the country.  the community i liked most was in a town with 700 residents.  i got to spend time with molly's sisters.  we ate local ice cream, saw some beautiful vegetable gardens, swam in a river.

i think you might have liked it.

I, too, am miserable at documenting. But these photos are great. Sounds like a wonderful place.

am curious to hear about your experiences visiting intentional communities - we live in an intentional community in California and love it, although we miss the fall in New England
