ah, sara, i stink at verbalizing these things. but here: i can identify with the emotion i imagine the characters are feeling..dreaminess, isolation, being pensive, thoughtful, focusing on this task they have. what they are doing, catching a fish, can be a metaphor for anything but for me something more than this practical task. catching a big fish symbolizes, on a personal level, all the big things i've had to do recently in my life which require patience, attention without flinching, bravery .i like the way the paint was put to canvas, i like the composition and color.
