Love the lace ups! These will work ok in the snow too I think. Last year Portland got a bunch of snow which never happens so we don't keep any snow gear. I just wore my rain boots and thick socks and while it wouldn't keep my feet warm for hours it was ok for being out a little while. Good purchase!
i needed them. so i got them. the only problem is we are coming on snow season. not rain season. i always do stuff like this.

Oh, don't you worry! That's nothing some of those snazzy inserts and a thick pair of woolen socks can't handle!
Those are totally awesome. There are always more rainy seasons. And yes, you can add fuzzy inserts!
