alone together

i don't know what it is about my personality which makes me yearn for isolation and self-sufficiency.  it's something pretty strong within me.  thanks alison for the introduction to art and nan kellam.  these will be my books of the summer, both alone together and we were an island.  photos are from david graham's alone together.

David Graham was the only great teacher I had in college! He lasted there for one semester. (I didn't even have good teachers otherwise, so sad!)

Liane - you can see a kind of sneaky little peak at the wall Walter is working on for Renegade on my blog...

it speaks of a certain take on life, not? it is personal. reflection too, i guess. personally, i follow the idea of solitude. :)

Solitude is so refreshing. I'm finally getting to enjoy a bit now that my last child has left home and is on a x-country bicycle trip. Too bad I have to go to work to "pay" for my solitude, but it's so nice while I have it and he comes back.

I'm following advice I've given to my children, "enjoy what you have while you have it".

enjoy.....Lisa
