as a peony does

remember that time you asked for redemption?
you asked with no blood on your hands,
you asked like a flower asks for the sun.

what would it mean to fall over as a peony does
in the rain, under the weight of buds so heavy,
with dirt under your nails,  petals on your knees?

using words both from a friend and from a blog reader.

This is so beautiful. Here are some words for you...solitude, insomnia, and crooked.

Lovin' this...getting more and more inspired to try!

And this poem? beautiful...the imagery is crystal clear...there is a feeling of underlying desperation. Beautiful
