yoo hoo.......i'm home....

i had such a good good time at renegade.  hanging out with margaux and walter and alice and benny was the best.  we laughed A LOT.  like, we COULDN'T STOP.  even the short storm on sunday was fairly hilarious.  i love those guys.  i really do. 

our booth was deluxe and really good looking.  

i met so many of my internet friends.  thanks you all for stopping by.  if i was a bit of a craft fair zombie i apologize.  long days, lack of sleep, brooklyn driving all made my head spin a little.

plus i finally met my best etsy boy laurent.  he put me up in his apartment for the weekend.  what a sport.  thanks, man.

today i'm photographing the enhab stuff i brought back home with me and listing it in the etsy shop over the next few days.

plus loving the garden and chickens and family up and glad to be home.  they (family, not chickens) made me dinner and cake last night for my birthday and as previously mentioned, i got a concertina!  totally did not expect that.  what a freaking awesome gift, huh?

so, over and out.  love ya.  missed ya.  think you're in the top 1% of human beings.  but you probably already knew that.

nutballz

it's totally nutballz around here.  i'm still trying to crank out a few more things for renegade and i'm having all manner of administrative issues such as:  i'm trying to print out my business cards but they look like poo,  i still don't have an "enhabiten" sign made up for my booth, i suck at getting from point A to point B so i may end up in hoboken instead of brooklyn. blah blah blah.  etc etc etc.

on the bright side next monday is my b-day.  i can't even believe i'm going to be 23.

so. my little chickens.  if you are in bk'lyn or anywhere near it this weekend you must stop by to say hi.  or else our friendship is merely an empty shell. 

ok, i gotta get to bed.  i can't even tell if i'm being funny or completely insane. 

if i don't see you this weekend in person which will be a total hoot i will see you back here next week.

it's almost renegade time!

  i have cross pillows, a variety of vintage and antique quilt pillows and zip purses, textile bracelet cuffs, vintage knit string braclets and maybe even some framed vintage linoleum among other surprises.   if you are in brooklyn new york the weekend of june 5/6 please stop by our booth.  it will all things worn with history including forestbound, black spot, peg and awl, and enhabiten.

hello smiley faces.  i spent my morning trying to book a last minute flight and hotel for my husband to dallas for a wind power convention and it made me ornery and discombobulated.  every hotel around was booked.  i had about 10 internet windows open comparing and contrasting rates and locations and shuttle access to the convention site.  totally ridic.  and then after a couple hours i get an email from the husband telling me he was having "annette in the vermont office" take care of arrangements.  grr.

so, just some random pics. around the homestead above.  ethan came home this weekend to attend  his cousin's wedding with us.  he still needs to get back to boston and pack up his stuff but then he's done with his first year of art school and home for the summer.  i snuck a picture of him on the front step through this entirely filthy window.  he's a pretty cool dude.

also, take a look at this (scroll down to where it shows peg and awl and black spot books display)!!  margaux and walter are sharing a booth with me at brooklyn renegade this year which you may alreay know.  and this is what our (their) booth is looking like.  i'm so into it.  and can't wait.

Another booth I plan to visit is Loyalty and Blood when I'm set up at Brooklyn Renegade in early June.  (early june...doesn't that sound delightful??  someone out there name their shop/biz early june,k?)
