light

there are new things heading into the shop next week so i'd like to offer a decent sale through the weekend.  everything, including goods already on sale, will be 30% off if you use the coupon code TAKE30 at checkout.  heres the shop link.

i'm missing light and i'm missing warmth.   in my dreams last night there was green grass and the heat of the sun on my skin.   i'm also remembering some weird worrying thoughts...and chocolate.  and that pretty much sums up the stuff of my brain.

what all you got in your brains, hmm??

backyard sunrise and last chance

this is what the sunrise looked like in my backyard this morning.

when i hear this song i am 20 again.

and at the end she makes car noises that are pure genius.

i want to talk to you about last chances but i don't know what to say.  it means something different to me now than it did back then.

afternoon light

I'm going to wrap up some outgoing orders and then focus on my family/life. My 11 yo has had the flu the past week and I can hear him sniffling in the other room. And my house could use a quick clean. And that is just the tip of the iceberg, as they say, when it comes to the responsibilities that are on my mind right now outside of enhabiten and my private little craft world....which I cocoon myself in during the day and then must reemerge and refocus from in the afternoon and evening. Wine usually helps. But I try to hold off until it's time to make supper.
Taking these pillow pictures above reminded me how gorgeous sunlight can be. And how reassuring and grounding. On that somewhat corny note,
xoxo
