afternoon light

I'm going to wrap up some outgoing orders and then focus on my family/life. My 11 yo has had the flu the past week and I can hear him sniffling in the other room. And my house could use a quick clean. And that is just the tip of the iceberg, as they say, when it comes to the responsibilities that are on my mind right now outside of enhabiten and my private little craft world....which I cocoon myself in during the day and then must reemerge and refocus from in the afternoon and evening. Wine usually helps. But I try to hold off until it's time to make supper.
Taking these pillow pictures above reminded me how gorgeous sunlight can be. And how reassuring and grounding. On that somewhat corny note,

Oh, I'm so sorry your son's been having the flu, it's quite terrible this year ... I hope he'll be back to himself ASAP.
Strength to you for the house cleaning & all the rest too.
Beautiful beautiful sunlight indeed. We need that light so much to keep our spirits uplifted.
Take care oxox

This reminds me of how wonderful the light was when I lived on the East Coast. These are wonderful L!
