enhabiten sale

i wanted to be sure you all know that i'm offering $5 off everything in my shop right now.  the only exceptions are the $5 cabinet card which is $2 off and the reserved cross pillow which is, well, reserved.  if you make a purchase you can pay up front and i will reimburse you the $5 afterward or you can wait for me to send a revised invoice to your email and then make payment.  the listed prices are before the sale.  so there are some good deals to be had.

i'm still plugging away on my stock for the renegade fair.  i'm taking lots of tea breaks and roaming and wandering breaks and futzing around on the computer breaks.  because i can't work more than an hour without getting antsy.  you're probably better at this.  at least i imagine most people are.  if you have any tips on focus and time management do give it up.  i actually think i'm getting worse as i get older which seems counter-intuitive.  anyway, blah blah blah.  did i just put you to sleep?

oh, ps. the picture is a lace curtain which belonged to grandma gertrude.  i have a bunch of them and just put some up in my studio.  they look perfectly stunning alongside my moose antler head thingy.

Jealous! Old lace curtains are sooo haaard to come by. I know because I spend too much time digging through linen piles, hoping and praying.

Time management? I'm not allowed to work for more than 15 seconds at a time without making someone a snack, so.....

I promise myself to keep FireFox closed while I work. Once I am done with some computer tasks I allow myself some internet surfing. Otherwise, I'd be wasting away looking at stuff all day long

I've been listening to lots of podcasts lately. I have a bad habit of watching movies while working, which keeps me working for an hour or two at a time, but still feels a little icky (I tend to watch lame movies so I don't have to pay close attention while still following the plot). Listening to podcasts of artists and designers is much better - and really motivating and inspiring!
