...
hello wednesday.
hello you and you and you.
i feel like i'm falling flat with blogging lately. my head is just too full and i can't put my best effort in. i'll tell you that i just had a mini hissy fit as i was researching bag hardware online. i am clueless about this and the choices are confusing and overwhelming. should i not admit this? should i pretend i know exactly what i'm doing; all knowing and born professional?
ut, too late.
but enough of that. back to rivets and brass nickel and die and set.
i can do it. right?!?

The kitchen in that first shot is perfection.
You can!
figure it out as you go along, i say. it will naturally reinvent itself.
oh, i'd love to go to an auction! x
I'm enjoying The Feisty Stitcher by Susan Wasinger...she uses grommets and some other hardware, maybe that would be helpful. It's nothing comprehensive, but always nice to see some guidelines as a jumping off point.
I think taking the stance of always learning is a good thing ;-). There's too much to know for anyone to be an expert.
you are fine, have good advice from friends, and great taste. that's what I know.
beautiful!
that website is sick... did you catch that cottage for rent?! egads!
new equipment/making necessities are daunting, I agree. especially when you can't play with them in person.
yes, hardware sourcing is INFURIATING! I've got a whole post about it here: http://www.candiedfabrics.com/2010/02/22/my-sources-for-bag-hardware/
if this is any help at all to you i will be happy! If not, please know you're not alone! :-)
Yes you can! and you should! can't wait to see the results - it'll happen : )
Those interiors made my day
