older than bees

the magnolia is ancient
older than bees
which buzz at night

not the bees
but my memory of the bees
with soft edges without light

the bees disappear at night
without strength without fight

the magnolia is ancient
only with forgiveness, only light

(i think i'm still working on this one.)
can you guess which words i was given to use for this poem?

commissioned curtain panel in progress,
and complete:

and i found a pretty cool macrame book at the dump yesterday:

have a good weekend, my friends.
