What did I do??
Finished machine quilting on 2 quilts, stitched on the binding getting ready to do the hand stitching this week to get them ready to list in the shop. Yesterday my 2 sons came over to "help" mom and walked in saying they were hungry, so while they worked on my mower and mowed for me and hauled some bush trimmings off the the woods I cooked up some vegetable pasta, you know to feed the hungry hardworking boys/men. Then after we ate my 23 year old sons dug out some old kites from the shed and I watched them fly kites in the front field. It was a GOOD weekend.

i love your vintage dyed things.

this weekend, i should have been in the dye lab, but instead i did my taxes, watched trapped in the closet (just the beginning) with my honey, went to a hockey game (drank cheap light beer), perfected the drip system on the vegetable garden, finished some shirts for etsy, took pictures, uploaded a couple (still have more to do) and did a lovely mercury in aries meditation with my fiance. a very good weekend!

sounds like a lovely and eventful day!
I got together with a friend to do some dyeing with walnut and brazilwood... then went to a fundraiser in town to raise money for the scholarship fund set up in my bf's mother's name. Happy it seems to be going well! Now snuggling with the pups and little feather friend...

Worked most of the weekend, tried out a recipe for Pork Osso Bucco Pibil Tacos. Had a not so good wine tasting. Road around town looking at Mid Century Modern homes. Admired the four different colors of Iris in my neglected garden, bless them. Chased a possum and had a Chicago dog for dinner, picnic style in the park with my better half.
